A free choice?

Today I get to vote for the candidates I like. But what if I don't like any of them?

It's the first time I get a vote as Julie, having always voted under the legal name that someone else (not my parents) chose for me, so I want it to count, but what if you have so little faith in the system or the people at the moment and so almost no choice. I know who I don't want to get in but who should I vote for to ensure that? - rhetorical question. Can I have a negative vote, take one off their score as I definitely don't want them to win but often the biggest winner here is apathy with some of the country's lowest turnouts here so one vote could be crucial.

I stare at my polling card (I have voted since writing and posting this). I hate when there's supposed to be a free vote but in reality there's little real choice, as you have to choose how best to keep the bad choice out. Some free election!

(I feel much better after getting that off my chest) :) xx
