
Been a bit up and down over the last few weeks, but today the scales said 16st 4 3/4. I've now lost over 5% of my body weight and that's nearly a stone lost since Nov 2008. Sometimes it scares me and I have a wobble for a day or so, but I so want to say goodbye to the old strategies.
Total weight lost 13 1/4 lb

It's still a battle as part of me wants to remain invisible, but I need to do it, if only for health reasons. Hopefully will be less uncomfortable in the aeroplane seat for Dublin - will be experiencing the joys or otherwise of Ryanair for the first time - still will be packed in like cattle, I'm sure, but more room to moo-ve? LOL xx

Popped in for a visit - nice to meet you! There's a really good (non diet) book out by Mimi Spencer called 101 Things to do before you Diet. Like me, she worked in the magazine industry for years, and knows it'a a crock of shite - that diets are unethical and their raison d'etre is to make people (mainly women) feel inadequate. It's a book full of positive, non calorie counting, non bossy tips that get you enjoying your food and feeling good about yourself.
And remember that nearly 50% of the female population are size 14 - 16
