Anatomy of a Blue - The System of a Down

I've written this to try to explain how it feels on a bad day - to try to get it out as today has started with a blue feel. But perhaps by writing it out, I hoping it won't be too bad today, at least that's the theory...

System of a Down

Blue

Empty

Dead inside

Nothing feels alive

And apathy's too strong a word

Black

Dark

No light at all

Alone with just myself

The system of a Down

Yes my friend, and within that ''down'' lies its own beauty which we may not see at first.
Keep journaling Jewel. dcrelief

Hi jewel,
What you have written is what I attempt to do. By verbalising, by getting in out of my head and into a blog; I consider very therapeutic indeed.
Thank you for this blog and I wish you well in your own ongoing journey. Many thanks for your comment on my most recent blog.
Warm wishes and peace klahanie

Yesterday I had a crap day, but today is feeling a bit better. I know what you mean dcrelief. The "down" always highlights an area to work on or something (an attitude, a so-called tool or skill) to drop as not working. I also have SAD and it was a pretty grey, overcast day yesterday which didn't help. But I cried, healing tears and today I move on a little more renewed. Thank you both of you for your comments. Through togetherness we each move onward. xx
